Liver cake is both a salad, a snack, and a savory cake at the same time, but, whatever you call it, this dish was, is and will be one of the most favorite foods on holidays.

Why is a liver snack called a cake, because a liver cake is a dessert, and not a liver dish? It's simple - because because of the design, it really resembles a cake, and, at times, many do not even immediately understand that it’s not a sweet cake, but an appetizer. This wonderful dish can be decorated very beautifully, and its taste is always remarkable and pleases all lovers of simple, but delicious dishes.

The fact that a liver is a very useful product, rich in substances and vitamins valuable for our body, also speaks in favor of liver cake.

It will take:

For pancakes:

  • Beef liver - 600 gr.
  • Onion - 1 pc.
  • Processed cheese (I have “Friendship”) - 1 pc.
  • Egg - 1 pc.
  • Flour - 1 tbsp. l
  • Salt - 1 tsp.

For filling:

  • Boiled carrots - 2 pcs.
  • Processed cheese ("Friendship") - 1 pc.
  • Garlic - 1 tooth.
  • Butter - 70 gr.

So, we clean the liver of films, cut into pieces, onions - arbitrarily, add salt, processed cheese, egg, flour.

All this is ground as a blender.

Part of the resulting mass is poured into a greased form with a thin layer (about 1 cm), and sent to the preheated oven for about 10 minutes (the pancake should be sufficiently dense, but not tender).

Thus we get 3-4 pancakes, depending on the size of the form.

Prepare the filling: we carrot three on a fine grater, add processed cheese, grated garlic, grated butter - mix everything well, salt and pepper to taste.

Take a pancake, grease part of the filling:

Put the next pancake on top ... etc.

Last pancake grease the remaining filling and sprinkle with green onions.

We put our building in the fridge so that it can ...

Top layer can be smeared with mayonnaise and sprinkled with parsley.
