It occurred to me to sew a simple cut shirt. I noticed this nice and inexpensive fabric a few months ago and bought a bit to create the perfect summer outfit. The simpler the better, so I created this simple t-shirt. To repeat after me, you will need 1 meter of fabric, a little skill and one of your T-shirts as a stencil.
Part 1: Cutout Making
Fold the fabric along the length (in two layers) and mark the center with a pin. Attach your T-shirt and draw the back cutout.
Fold the sides of the fabric and place it in a t-shirt. Place the back outline in the middle, make sure everything matches. Now you can draw the front neckline.
Cut the fabric along the contour.
Process the neck, stitching a tape along its contour.
Part 2: Sewing sleeves
Put the t-shirt on the fabric. Make sure it lies flat and both notches are located above each other. Circle a T-shirt around the contour of about 5 cm. If you want to make clothes looser, you can indent 7-10 cm. If you doubt the choice of size, remember that you will always have time to do less, but if the new T-shirt turns out to be too small, you have to give it to your little niece.
Cut the fabric from one side only and use it as a template to get a second sleeve. This is the best way to make a t-shirt symmetrical.
Now that both sides are cut, sew the sleeves and belt to temporarily secure them.
Then connect the sides and sew. You may need to process the edge, but my fabric would not do that and I was too lazy.
So she is in front of you! I really liked this picture. If you like my “necklace” with a tassel, the next time I can tell you how to make it))
