Growing potatoes is actually not so simple. We offer you a way in your garden using several means.

Potatoes are one of the easiest foods to grow on your own. It does not require much attention, and with the help of this handy trick, you can immediately grow a lot of potatoes.

First you need the following:

  • Wire fence 4 feet high and 8 feet wide
  • Hay
  • Compost and soil
  • Seed potatoes

First, you need to install the pillars in square shape. Make sure they are 18 inches apart. This will be the basis of the potato tower.

Then take the wire and wrap it around the post like a fence.

Then, trim it so that the horizontal legs are wrapped around the vertical legs that you created when you started fencing. Use pliers to tie the ends together.

Add hay, compost and soil to create an environment in which potatoes can grow.

Take two kilograms of seed potatoes.

Put the potatoes in the ground and compost. Make sure the green buds are facing outwards towards the hay. Then cover the potatoes with a few inches of soil and place another row of potatoes. Do this until the potatoes are over. At the top of the tower, plant the tubers in the middle and make sure the potatoes grow up. Water regularly.

Your potato tower will slowly grow after the plants bloom.

Harvesting potatoes is pretty easy. Remove the hay from the compost and see the potatoes. Make sure you do not water the tower before harvesting ... otherwise you will dig in the mud!

This potato tower produces a copious amount of potatoes. You will have a sufficient amount, which will be enough for a long time!
